Water Treatment Solutions
Water Treatment Engineered to Your Actual Water Source
Hard borewell water, high-TDS feedwater, turbid municipal supply or process water for a factory — Neptune designs water treatment plants around what's actually in your source, not a generic package.
The problem
Off-the-shelf treatment rarely matches your water
Two sites five kilometres apart can have completely different hardness, TDS and turbidity. A water treatment plant sized for one and installed at the other under-performs from day one — or costs more to run than it should.
Scale & hardness damage
Untreated hard water scales pipes, heaters, RO membranes and appliances, shortening their working life.
Unreliable process water
Factories running high-TDS or turbid feedwater through sensitive equipment risk fouling and downtime.
Oversized, overpriced systems
Generic packages sized without a water test either under-treat or add capacity — and cost — you don't need.
Water Softener Plant
Stop scale before it reaches your pipes
Ion-exchange water softener plants remove calcium and magnesium hardness at the point of entry, protecting downstream pipework, water heaters, RO membranes and appliances from scale build-up.
- Sized to your actual hardness (ppm) and daily consumption
- Automatic or manual regeneration control valves
- Residential, commercial and industrial capacities

Industrial RO Plant
Purified process water at factory scale
Industrial RO plants remove dissolved salts and contaminants through a semi-permeable membrane, producing consistent low-TDS water for boiler feed, process use or drinking water applications.
- Pre-treatment matched to your feed water quality
- Membrane banks sized to required output capacity
- Reject-water management built into the design
Pressure Sand Filter
The first line of defence against turbidity
A pressure sand filter (PSF) removes suspended solids, silt and turbidity through graded sand media, protecting downstream softeners, RO membranes and equipment from fouling.
- Removes suspended solids & visible turbidity
- Backwash-cleanable multi-layer sand media
- Usually stage one of a multi-stage treatment train

Activated Carbon Filter
Remove chlorine, odour and organics
An activated carbon filter (ACF) uses adsorption to remove residual chlorine, organic compounds, taste and odour — commonly placed after the PSF and before a softener or RO membrane to protect it.
- Removes chlorine, odour & organic compounds
- Protects RO membranes from chlorine damage
- Improves taste for drinking water applications

Indicative specifications
Typical capacity ranges by treatment type
| Treatment type | Typical capacity range | Primary function |
|---|---|---|
| Water softener plant | 500 – 25,000+ LPH | Hardness removal |
| Industrial RO plant | 500 – 50,000+ LPH | Dissolved solids / TDS reduction |
| Pressure sand filter | 1,000 – 50,000+ LPH | Suspended solids / turbidity removal |
| Activated carbon filter | 500 – 25,000+ LPH | Chlorine, odour & organics removal |
Figures are indicative starting ranges for planning only — final sizing for your water treatment plant is confirmed against a water test and your actual demand.
Why Neptune
Benefits of treatment sized to your water
Longer equipment life
Correctly treated water protects pipes, heaters, membranes and appliances from scale and fouling.
Predictable running cost
Right-sized softener, RO and filtration stages avoid over-provisioning and unnecessary media/chemical use.
Consistent output quality
Multi-stage treatment trains hold their output quality even as source water quality varies seasonally.
One accountable partner
Design, install and AMC for your full water treatment plant from a single engineering team.
